LEGAL INFORMATION
Terms & Conditions of Business
IMPORTANT: Please read these terms and conditions, as your contract
starts from the date that you book your course online and is legally binding.
In accordance with the DSA 2000 Regulations, you do have a 7 day “cooling
off” period, which states specifically that “any cancellation must be made in
writing within 7 days of your booking”. After this period, all deposits are
STRICTLY NON-REFUNDABLE AND NON TRANSFERABLE. We do, however, recognise that an
attendance problem may arise, so we will allow a transfer to an alternative
course provided 30 days notice is given and a nominal £5 admin fee will be
charged. If students do not attend on the day without prior notice, they will
lose, or be responsible for, the full course fee.
BODY AND SOUL School of Complementary Therapy reserves the right to cancel,
reschedule or change the location of the course and, in this unlikely event,
will offer you an alternative course date. However, if you are unable to attend
a rescheduled course, we will offer a full refund of your deposit or course fee.
Places cannot be confirmed until a deposit is paid. All final payments must
be made 14 days prior to the start date – if a last minute booking is made,
payment by cheque or cash may be made on the day.
It is the responsibility of the student to ensure that the courses you apply
for are suitable for your requirements and that you have the pre-requisite
qualifications and the competence to be able to achieve the objectives of this
course. All student information will be confidential, nor will it be disclosed
to other parties.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, BODY AND SOUL accepts no
responsibility for any direct or indirect loss or damage, foreseeable or
otherwise, including any indirect, consequential, special or exemplary damages
arising from the use of this website, or any information contained therein.
It is your responsibility to check that your insurance will cover you for
these courses. We do, however, provide you with the details of Towergate
Insurance who will insure any courses run by BODY AND SOUL School of
Complementary Therapy.
Furthermore, we accept no responsibility for any loss or damage to personal
effects. Some treatments will require the removal of jewellery and/or clothing
and it is the responsibility of each student to ensure their safekeeping.
The copyright of all course material shall remain the sole and exclusive
property of BODY AND SOUL School of Complementary Therapy. You may not copy or
permit the copying of course materials without prior written permission, nor
disclose or permit the disclosure or sell or hire to third parties, nor use the
same for running your own courses. Any person breaching copyright may be liable
to civil proceedings.
By booking with us, you have agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
