All our courses are delivered by Qualified and experienced
teachers who are also practitioners of the subject. This combined with a
flexible approach to teaching will help you as a student achieve a high level of
learning and understanding beyond what is currently required by national
certification, teaching you the science and art of massage therapy.
We live in stressful times with most of our lives running at
full speed with little time for rest or relaxation. Most of us have tight backs,
sore necks or aches and pains brought about as a result of the stresses placed
up on us. As a massage therapist you can help to resolve these issues and assist
others in promoting their own well being through practical massage and
theoretical education.
Whilst we all have the innate ability to touch and soothe, the
craft of massage therapy will allow you achieve manual dexterity, empathy,
sensitivity and awareness from a holistic perspective. Those enrolling on the
course should have a genuine desire to not only help others but give a
commitment of time, energy and concentration which the learning procedure will
require in order to become a professional massage practitioner.
The course consists of in house training and assessment, with
exercises, tutorials and group working. In addition students will be required to
carry out case study treatments (5 Clients: Each being treated 4 times) outside
of in-class hours.

This course is predominantly practical and you will require a
massage couch, cover and paper roll for home/field practice. Appropriate uniform
(Polo shirt and trousers in White. Black, Brown or Dark Blue). Student insurance
is mandatory and available through Embody.
Following successful completion of a mock practical and theory
you will be eligible to sit the ITEC Level 3 Diploma in Sports Massage which
comprises of a multiple choice theory exam and ITEC assessed practical
treatment.

ITEC Exam Fees £85 payable on commencement of course (Includes
